Ridmi Parindya

                  WAWRUKANNALA TEMPLE You have hearded about the Wawrukannala Temple . It is famous shrine , located in our area. This temple is located about 4 km from Dickwella town. Many local and foreign devotees come to worship this  place.    🙏🙏🙏🙏    There is a large statue of Lord Buddha in this temple. Which is in the seated position. This is about 160 ft hight. It is said to be Sri Lanka's biggest Buddha statue in the seated position and  dates come back to king Rajadhi's of reign.                                 It is made in such a way that one can climb up the stairs behind the statue. Most of the time, when we go to Wawrukannala this goes up. When go up, the surroundings looks beautiful. If you come too, be sure to go   up.                     ...

I am in undergraduate attached to the University of  Visual  & Performing Arts I  am in my first year of study.               I have attended to three schools. I received my primary education at Hambantota Central College and then I went to Kumaratunga Munidas College for my O/Ls . I have completed my Advanced Level Examination at Vijitha Central College.
